....like founding a Pantheon which is the first step to founding a Religion. I've chosen Religious Idols because I want Culture and Faith bonuses and I have plenty of Gold.

Dido wants me to join her war against Byzantium so I agree. Dido is my trading partner and she has a stronger army than I do so it's time to amuse her.
2050 BC: Research of The Wheel is completed and I choose Bronze Working next - another military Technology. Also time to choose my next Social Policy, Citizenship, which gives me a Worker to help improve the Realm.

I decide to fit in another Archer in the Production Queue before the Settler arrives....
....also my new Worker starts building a Gold Mine and...
....I have enough Gold to purchase a Shrine at Tombouctu. I now need to save at least 600 Faith Points to found a Religion.
This table tells me that there are only two Nations have less Gold than I do - I just bought a Shrine, guys but my income is 26 Gold/turn....
...another Archer in Rabat cannot harm.
A Barbarian Brute gets too close so I decide to take it out :)

Genghis Khan wants to open an Embassy in Gao and I finish researching Bronze Working.

I renew my Trade Agreement with Dido and choose to research Masonry next. A Zulu Spearman has breached my blockade while my Warrior was busy up North :(

Theodora sues for Peace and I accept her offer. Two Gold/turn for 90 turns and I did nothing :-/
1910 BC: A Barbarian Encampment has been located so I send some troops to eliminate it. It's too near to where I want to build my next City - I could also use the Gold...

I join Mongolia's war against China - I might get more Gold....
.....and Masonry has arrived. My next Tech is Mathematics - it allows me to build Catapults - more military know-how.

1750 BC: My Archer arrives in Rabat and I think that Walls may be useful considering its location.
I found my fourth City, Georgetown, purchase a Shrine and start building a Monument.
My statistics are looking better - even my military is above average. Population and Literacy are bad but I have a few ideas.
My Realm in 1700 BC - the largest in the world - I purchase the Banana hex because it supports growth.

I make Peace with China - no Gold this time and Dido appears to be a bit peeved. I think she has realized that Africa isn't big enough for both of us. Catapults might be useful...

That's all for this post - two wars behind me and an adversary on my front doorstep. Bye :)
