940 BC: I put a couple of my battle-damaged troops in repair mode and send a captured Worker to build a Farm on the Wheat hex south of Oran.

The Navy tidies up the central Mediterranean....

The Swedish Scout is a nuisance where it is - it slows down my ability to move units through the gap between the Forest and Mountain, i.e. safely out range of Utique's Garrison and Archer.
930 BC: In the South I renew the Trade Route from Gao to Harar and start building a Pasture on the Horse hex.

Now Egypt declares war on Carthage! I don't want Ramesses to capture Utique so I guess I have no choice but to continue the war.
Sorry, Dido but that offer isn't good enough...
I move my first Bowman through the "Gap" and my Worker starts building the Farm.

Darius of Persia becomes a friend and the migration continues.

900 BC: After completing the Farm a Sheep Pasture needs to be built next.

A Bowman captures an enemy Worker and a Trireme bombards Utique and other forces move forward.

The Carthaginians destroy my Trireme but my land Forces are still unscathed
890 BC: The bombardment of Utique opens in earnest....

....and other units close in for the final battle.
More in the next post. I have to be careful not to leave the City too damaged because one of Carthage's other adversaries might sneak in and capture Utique.
