Bismarck's Peace Terms - 1040 AD to 1055 AD

In the North the three German Swordsmen assaulted Riga almost destroying themselves - the ensuing counterattack by the City defences and two Bowmen, (mine has arrived), wiped them out. The German Warrior in Finland had a painful encounter with a Rigan Horseman. Riga appears to be safe for the moment.
In Iberia the German Composite Bowman appears to have run away to the Northeast.
My Galleass bombards the enemy Catapult and destroys it.

All's quiet on the Western Front so I place a Musketman in repair mode and start building a Colosseum in Benghasi.

I decide to send a Longswordsman to Riga - it's superior to the Swordsmen that the Germans have and it might play a decisive role.

The Western Mediterranean at the end of my turn.
1045 AD: Bismarck offers his Peace Terms and I didn't see it at first - Munich?? I tried to get Gold instead of Munich but he was stubborn. I refused the offer then looked at the map - where is his city? After a lot of thought I asked him again about his terms and he repeated his offer so I accepted.
I only have enough Happiness to create a Puppet State but I can annex it later.
I now start cleaning up the battlefield. Repair this, where is my Great Prophet, etc....

I have received beaucoup Resources thru the acquisition of Munich - I even export some Silver to Bismarck :)

A view of my Realm in E. Europe - but can I defend it? I still have Riga as an Ally and all the other neighbours are Guarded with me, not Hostile!
1050 AD: Back to the peace routine now - a Gold Mine near Kisangani and that's it :)
A view of 'My Mediterranean' and Munich can be seen top-right.
I convert Yerevan to Judaism giving me one Happiness Point - I need it badly!
A nice view showing that Venice is sandwiched between the two parts of the Empire. Interesting, but I don't own Munich yet and I have no troops there.
First I do some exporting and give free Embassies to Darius and Maria but not to the Siamese guy!

I now check Central Asia and I see that Attila has survived the combined Persian/Russian/Indian/Siamese onslaught. Good :)
That is interesting - Venice and Byzantine have declared war on Egypt! That shows they are not interested in attacking me. Russia is the one I am worried about. Maybe I should stop spying on them.
1055 AD: A Banana Plantation in Cameroun would be nice.
I plot a course for my Great Prophet to Munich - it will take 10 turns.
Next is Production. A Pikeman followed by a University in Gao....

....followed by a Market in Agadez.
I move a Galleass to its station off Alexandria and that's it for this turn.
The post-war Iberia and Western Mediterranean. A very profitable campaign: two cities and an eastern realm with lots of resources for the cost of one Trireme!
Until next time, guys ;)
