New Century Assessment - 1100 AD

I want to inspect the Realm and consider my options. The main problem is how to defend Brest-Litovsk. I do want to hold on to my previous New World strategy but I have one big obstacle - low Happiness. Creating a new City is an automatic -3 to the Happiness Level and each new citizen is a -1 hit. But first the cities.

I have gone to each City to ensure that there will be no growth in the near future

I upgrade a couple of Triremes to Caravels so that I can start exploring the oceans next turn.

I still have resources which can be exported....but that can wait - I have enough Gold income.
Finally my new strategic goal: Constantinople! Look carefully. The northern border of Constantinople is the southern border of Brest-Litovsk! So simple - it is the bridge which I need to capture :)
