Now it's denouncing time. I hope that Venice, England and especially Ethiopia had their fun....

Now this is a surprise! The Huns have the second largest Armed Forces. I accept the offer.
Gandhi is becoming a friend of Japan and can't resist the jab. Send Japan my greetings....
So Arabia and Portugal have declared war on China. I'm sure Wu Zetian is trembling with fear...
655 AD: I get a 2nd Worker building a Road from Gao to Cameroun. I also accept an Open Borders deal with Attila. I might consider offering a Declaration of Friendship later.

660 AD: Physics Technology has been researched and I choose the path to Chivalry next but because I am missing Guilds that Tech will automatically be researched first.

I now upgrade four Catapults to Trebuchets, all near to Harar, at a cost of 280 Gold each.

I put a Barracks and a Longswordsman on the Production Queue in Carthage and now that my Worker has arrived at the Spice hex I start constructing a Plantation.

665 AD: I upgrade another Catapult and move some troops further south to the border.

670 AD: M'Banza-Kongo is no longer an Ally and my Happiness Level dropped from 14 to 6! Oops... So I donate another 500 Gold and we are Allies again.

The situation at the end of my turn.
675 AD: A new Social Policy and I choose Monarchy - it adds 5 Happiness pts. I also donate another 500 Gold to Samarkand which increases my Happiness by 12 more pts.

I now declare war on Haile Selassie of Ethiopia. His Day of Reckoning has arrived.

In the next post we have action. Until soon :)
