Next Stop Addia Ababa - 685 AD to 700 AD

There are still a few enemy Swordsmen around Chad, former Harar, which need to be mopped up but there will be a gradual migration of my army towards Addis Ababa. I have a couple of promotions to take care of then destroy the three Swordsmen near to Chad. The Swordsman W. of Addis Ababa will be addressed later,

The enemy adjacent to Chad gets my attention now...

Then three of my Longswordsmen assault the two Ethiopian Swordsmen SE of Chad....

....I then give the first Swordsman the coup de grace.
Back to Business for a few seconds....
....finally the front at the end of my turn.
Byzantine and Sweden declare war on the Zulus - good luck to them!
690 AD: I destroy the third and final enemy Swordsman.

In Ghannat I've received a new Chariot Archer which I move eastwards through Agadez. I start building a Shrine next.

I finish my turn moving units in the direction of Addis Ababa.
Haile Selassie makes a peace deal with Attila - I wonder what it cost him....
695 AD: I renew my Trade Route to Lisbon and start building a Shrine in Sudan - the City is growing well - 5 citizens. My Trebuchets are one hex away from being able to bombard the Ethiopian capital.

700 AD: Greetings from Egypt-in-exile and Arabia. I'm so glad that they have not forgotten me...

I receive the Guilds Tech and Chivalry is the next Research Project.
An Ethiopian Swordsman has advanced and is immediately attacked by a Trebuchet and a Composite Bowman.

The front at the end of my turn and this post. The Battle of Addis Ababa will soon commence but my Longswordsmen are still in need of repair.
Until soon :)
