My statistics are looking good - the #2 is Russia who is not a neighbour but is near to Riga which is vital to my Happiness level. Arabia is relatively strong but we have never had any problems. The Zulus are way behind but their Impis are powerful units - there are three near my southern border. My Approval Rating is as expected but the Zulus are the least popular....

From the Economic Overview I see that 2 Gold and 1 each of Gems, Spices and Coffee are available for export.
I set up trade deals for a total of 15 Gold per turn for 90 turns - better than a kick in the teeth.

East Africa at the end of my turn but first I want to convert Thebes to Judaism....
....using a Great Prophet also converts citizens from another Religion, not just the non-believers.
Done. I check Antioch and it also looks ripe for conversion :)

A couple of deals - the Horses will be useful becaus the Songhai Cavalry are very powerful troops - one could describe them as Super-Knights and when the Chivalry Tech arrives I can build them - 14 turns from now :)

Catherine has declared war on the Zulus and Arabia declares war on the Huns - interesting...
....Zanzibar is asking me to bully Mogadischu - also interesting.
730 AD: The Longswordsman unit that stormed Addis Ababa is promoted then put in repair mode.

A Trebuchet is plotted to move S of Thebes where a Mint has been built and a Market planned next.

So M'banza-Kongo wants me to bully Zanzibar and Zanzibar wants me to bully Mogadischu....

So I bully Zanzibar then I bully Mogadischu, demanding a Worker from each - then I quickly realize that I did it in the wrong sequence - I should have bullied Mogadischu first - now both are extremely peeved with me. At least I got two Workers to help me repair former Ethiopia :)

East Africa at the end of my turn - now Darius of Persia declares war on Attila the Hun. My Ally Samarkand is right at the frontline and maybe I can intervene later....
