....I change the Trade Route from Constantinople because I don't want to import the +2 Pressure of a foreign Religion....
....and a Warrior at Tombouctu - I have the Gold to upgrade it to a Swordsman.
230 BC: A Golden Age begins and that means more Gold and Production points for each hex worked by citizens. Note that in Gao I have placed yet another Settler on the Production Queue - the Library can wait. A nice birds-eye view of the Realm - Maria of Portugal has declared war on China - great plan.

I renew my commitment to Riga - having them as an Ally has been extremely valuable. A Worker arrives in Rabat and I start building a Library. Also Tenerifa has grown.

200 BC: I found a new City, Ghannet, between Gao and Carthage. It is adjacent to both an Oasis and a Gold hex. Naturally I build a Monument first. On Tenerifa the Forest hex is gone so I can now construct a Mine. The new Worker from Rabat starts a Mine on the Iron hex west of Tombouctu.

The City Screen of Thebes in 190 BC - I put more emphasis on Production.
My Statistics - with 377 Victory Points I am leading. Nice to see that I now have the 2nd largest Army - only the Huns' is larger. All in all the stats are good :)

I've placed yet another Settler on the Production Queue in Gao - sorry Mr. Library....
170 BC: More improvements, a Mine on Cabo Verde and a Farm NW of Ghannet. Also Ghannet and Agadez are now connected by Road to my capital Gao. Finally Gao's City Screen.

It's about time that we built a Colosseum in Carthage - they need some entertainment....

150 BC: Metal Casting has been successfully researched thus entering the Medieval Era. I choose Drama and Poetry next - every civilized Nation shouldn't neglect Culture. I switch a Trade Route from Harar to the City-State of M'banza-Kongo.

140 BC: I finish this post at Cabo Verde which has just received its second citizen. Again I emphasize Production. Until next time, folks :)
