.... and I also commence building a Road from Thebes to Benghasi. I spend 500 Gold in order to maintain M'banza-Kongo as an Ally.

450 AD: More construction: another Galleass at Dakar and a Cargo Ship in Rabat.

Cameroun has received ist 4th Citizen and I realize that it is not yet connected by Road to Gao - I have to fix that. Meanwhile in Gao I'm taking my Army build-up seriously....

.... I give another 500 Gold to Samarkand but this is probably my last time.
490 AD: More troops for my armed forces: a Catapult at Agadez and a Galleass at Cabo Verde, Georgetown and Tenerife.

I move my new Chariot Archer to the Gao Region.
Shake decides to denounce me again....
....and with Arabia I try to combine an Embassy deal with the Ivory trade but Harun says no - so I decide not to make a deal with him.
510 AD: I start building another Farm near Gao and I purchase a new Missionary with Faith pts.

Some healthy sarcasm from Theodora - your time will come, Lady - don't forget that your city Antioch is on my front doorstep. One day it will become my door-mat :)
I'm going to try to convert Harar to Judaism - that should peeve Haile Selassie...
....another dose leaves Harar with 4 Oriental Orthodox faith and 4 Jewish so neither has a majority.
525 AD: My Worker now starts building a second Farm near Thebes and the Road to Benghasi makes more progress.

More troops placed on order: Catapults at Tombouctu and Thebes while at Benghasi a Galleass is selected.

535 AD: I renew my Trade route to Harar and next turn Benghasi is connected by Road to Gao via Carthage - the road to Thebes is not yet completed. The Worker now starts building a Mine.

Finally my Statistics: they are the same as last time - the new troops haven't arrived yet.

That's the end of this post - more soon :)
